On September 23, 2025, DILG Region III in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region III, recognized the Municipality of Moncada, Tarlac as one of the digitally ready LGUs in the region after affirming its commitment to adopt the Electronic Local Government Unit (eLGU) System.
As part of this initiative, Moncada LGU functionaries will undergo onsite technical assistance and capacity-building support through the Training on the eLGU System for LGUs, which officially commenced today and will run until September 26, 2025. The training, facilitated by the DILG Tarlac Provincial Office, aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively implement the eLGU System, ensuring more efficient, transparent, and accessible public service delivery.
This milestone highlights the shared commitment of DILG and DICT to advance digital transformation in local governance and empower LGUs to harness technology for improved service to their constituents.
