Councilor Dean Michael V. Duque, son of former Vice Mayor Jaime “Jiggs” Obillo Duque and Mrs. Eulogia Vertido-Duque, carries in his veins a proud legacy of public service — proof that serving the people of Moncada is truly in their blood.Born on September 2, 1985, Councilor Dean Michael Vertido Duque brings a youthful energy and fresh perspective to his role, while remaining deeply rooted in the community he serves, residing in Purok Talna West, Brgy. Mabini.  As the Chairperson of the Committee on Finance, Ways & Means, and Appropriation, he is at the forefront of shaping Moncada’s economic and public service landscape.

Councilor Duque’s educational background reflects his diverse talents and unwavering dedication to personal growth. From his early education at Moncada Catholic School and San Pedro National High School to his vocational training in Food & Beverages at Magsaysay Center of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (completed in 2012), and culminating in a BS in Marine Transportation from Philippine Maritime Institute in 2010, he has consistently sought to expand his knowledge and skills.

Councilor Duque’s diverse work history has equipped him with a unique understanding of the needs and aspirations of his constituents. From his experiences as a Food and Beverages Associate at Norwegian Cruise Lines Inc. and Carnival Cruise Lines Inc., and as a Service Ambassador at Resorts World Manila, to his time as a Food and Beverages Associate at Manila Polo Club, he has learned the value of hard work, dedication, and exceptional service. Currently, as a Municipal Councilor in the Moncada Local Government Unit since December 2022, he is channeling his passion and expertise to serve the people of Moncada with distinction.
